backup structure - maybe design backup file per folder ?

i mean, maybe this tool is for beginners ..
but i provide extended imap server for companies ..
often one mailbox have:
1000 folders and 50.000 emails ...(user archiving old emails, and don'T delete them)

so in summary, ex:
i have customers which are having:
20email accounts -> in summary ~50GB of emails
(summary: 15.000 folders, 250.000 emails)
this is often an average customer for me ...

now, backup ...

for me it is impossible to have a backup system, which use a db where all emails are in 1 big file ...

i mean, it make sense to have 1file per folder..

is this planned to change the architectur ?
