Hi I have deleted about 45 MB worth of attachments from some of my old emails.
The email thread now reads

IMAPSize: Following attachment(s) have been deleted on Thu, 23 Sep 2010 06:38:47 +0800:
Evacuation Routes (CAA 18 July 05 v2).doc

However, the amount of storage space that I have utilised is still reported by gmail to be the same... there is nothing in my trash box

Pls help
Thanks

Technically speaking, I guess there must be some problem with your Gmail space storage account. I don't know what problem have come up with the Gmail account, but I guess it's better to ask google.com about it.

I have exact same problem
I have no trouble to use the program
to cull large attachments
it reports files attachments and files purged
but upon examination, not only does the storage not go down
the files are STILL in gmail ????
