Is it possible to backup via command line and include any new folders?

This would be really useful

It's not currently possible. This has been requested before and is a really useful option so it will be added in one of the next releases.

Dear Ivan,

Have you added this feature in the meantime?

Just discovered this app today, Ivan - excellent work, does exactly what is needed and only uses 2mb of system resources whilst running Smile

Oh, and another vote for "Backup all Folders in an account".

Jonny.

Has this been done yet? If not, please add my vote!

This would make this software the ultimate killer app of all time. I've been toying with fetchmail on cygwin to do some donkey work for me, but frankly it's a pain in the schlong.

I'm sure many will find "Backup all Folders in an account" useful, but equally I think many will not want to have their Spam etc folders backed up.

An "include new folders" option would handle both cases. If the backup discovered a new folder it would then automatically add it to the list of folders to backup.

Of course, if you already have all previously existing folders selected, then this would behave as "Backup All Folders", and if you don't it would include new folders without also backing up folders you don't want and had already deselected....

Gratuitous bump of this thread... just noticed you've released a new version this year, so I thought I'd mark the occassion (belatedly) with a sneaky reminder Smile

Keep up the good work Ivan!

Hi,
The fact that new folders are simply ignored during the command line backup is also for me the most important restriction.
It would be great to have an option that allows backuping not just known folders, but also new one.

Hi. Fantastic software, thanks!

I would have to agree that adding an "Automatically backup new folders" checkbox or option would be the icing on the cake!

I would like to add a bump to this too, this feature would make the app 10 out of 10 i would pay for this app if it had this feature.
