first of all, an excellent piece of software. With this bug gone it would be very useful to me.
The problem is this:
I have a top level folder called "Shared Folders". It is not a subfolder of Inbox. "Shared Folders" and none of its subfolders are subscribed. When I start IMAPSize, the subfolders of Shared Folders appear within Inbox.Sent.
I also had a folder called Inbox.Sent Items, and its subfolders appeared in Inbox.Sent.
Let me know if you want further information about this issue. |

| There shouldn't be any problems due to spaces in folder names. A possible cause for your problem could be that IMAPSize currently only checks folders in the private namespace of your account, public and shared folders are ignored. Could you please log in to your account, invoke "Server Parameters" from the account menu and send the output to imapsize at broobles dot com. This will help me determine if this is the cause of your problem. |

I had the same problem, Ivan, with the beta version 0.3.0.
It wouldn't access a file in a subfolder of Documents and Settings, due to the spaces in the name. That's why I copied it to c:\backups\email\.
The stable version 0.2.8 doesn't have this problem. |

I have folders with spaces in my account but there are no subfolders at all (including subfolders of INBOX -- my server doesn't work like that so I don't need Smart Inbox).
So far other than the problem I posted in the other thread about attachment deletion I haven't had problems with the folders that have spaces... if that info helps. _________________ Jason

I also had a problem with beta .3 in my Documents and Settings folder that was due to spaces in the name. It is definately a problem with the spaces as it does the same thing that other programs with problems with spaces will do, it will tell you it couldn't find folder Documents, you click OK and then it tells you that it couldn't find the folder "and settings" or whatever the rest of the name is.
.28 worked fine...and thanks for the excellent program! |
