|

Whenever I put the tags in source mode,
<tags>keyword1, keyword2</tags>
it comes out as
<tags></tags>keyword1, keyword2
I had to turn on the default editor and use it to bring the tags to life. Is there any way out? |

There are several ways out:
1. Switch back to the plain html editor. This is barely acceptable.
2. Ask developers of all WYSIWYG editors for WP to take special care of <tags>. Possible, but annoying.
3. Modify SimpleTags to use [tags] instead of <tags>. This is very easy but will require users of previous versions of SimpleTags to run a few queries on their database in order to modify previous tags.
I think option 3 is the best one in the long run and I will be releasing SimpleTags 2.0 shortly with support for WYSIWYG editors. |

| SimpleTags 2.0 is now out. It uses [tags] instead of <tags>, so it will work well with WYSIWYG editors. |

Ivan, thanxalott for considering that and having a prompt update.
Now it works with my chenpress editor and I dont even need it to put it in source mode for that.
