|
|
my best guess was that the settings should be:
Account: home
Username: schwabio [at] gmail [dot] com
Password: *********** (my pword for gmail)
Server: imap.gmail.com
Port: 993 (default is 143, but on the gmail page there is stuff about port 993)
This and a bunch of variants also give the error "Can't connect to server imap.gmail.com (port 993) - Host not found or port invalid."
Thanks!
Btw, my overarching goal is to move all of the messages and archived chats from one gmail account to another. |

IMAPsize was working fine until I started using 2-step verification. Since then, IMAPsize indicates that it "Can't connect to server imap.gmail.com (port 143) - host not found or port invalid." I get the same error when I use port 993.
Gmail 2-step verification generates unique 16 character credentials for each third party application. I've used it successfully to restore Google access to my mobile devices and every third party application until this one. |
